These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services provided by Get Stitched, a trading name of Fashion3DX Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “our”), operating the website www.getstitched.co.uk. By using our services, you agree to these terms.
2. Services
We provide clothing alterations and repairs. All services are bespoke and tailored to individual customer requirements.
3. Ordering and Payment
3.1 Quotes: All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
3.2 Deposits: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to commence work on any order.
3.3 Final Payment: The remaining balance is due upon completion of the work, prior to collection or delivery of the altered/repaired item(s).
3.4 Payment Methods: We accept cash, debit/credit cards, and bank transfers.
4. Timescales
4.1 Standard Service: Our standard turnaround time is 7-10 working days, subject to workload, holidays and complexity of the alteration/repair.
4.2 Express Service: An express service may be available at an additional cost, subject to our discretion and current workload. Please ask about this before ordering.
4.3 Delays: While we strive to meet all deadlines, unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. We will inform you promptly of any potential delays.
5. Customer Responsibilities
5.1 Garment Condition: Items must be clean and in good condition. We reserve the right to refuse service for soiled, marked, faulty, or damaged items.
5.2 Accurate Information: Customers are responsible for providing accurate measurements and clear instructions for alterations during the order phase. We cannot be held responsible for any items that do not fit as expected if they were measured by the customer. If Get Stitched measured the items, any fit issues as a result of our error will be handled accordingly by exception.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
6.1 Cancellation Period: As our services are bespoke, the standard 14-day cooling-off period does not apply once work has commenced (in accordance with UK law).
6.2 Cancellation Charges:
- Before work commences: Full refund of deposit
- After work commences: No refund of deposit
6.3 Refunds: As all services are bespoke, refunds are only offered if the work is reasonably proven faulty or not as described.
7. Quality Guarantee
We guarantee the quality of our workmanship. If you are unsatisfied with the alterations or repairs, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the item.
8. Liability
8.1 Limitation: Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided.
8.2 Exclusions: We are not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage to garments
- Damage resulting from following customer instructions
- Indirect or consequential losses
9. Personal Data
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.
10. Complaints
If you have any complaints, please contact us in writing. We aim to resolve all issues promptly and fairly.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
